Off Topic » Setting Default Health ID not working

I am not good with phrasing for these sorts of things so sorry if title is misleading.

I am trying to set up my game so when I drag in a monster from compendium the health bar is on Bar 2 as I prefer its position to the other bars.

First off I tried switching the values around, so putting npc_ac to bar 1 link, and this has worked however, when insering hp_max to the bar 2 value and max it inserts it as text. So their health comes up as "hp_max" and not a number. I have tried switching hp_max to just hp as that is what the link is and that didnt work? I am so confused and would greatly appreciate help.

Any clarifcation needed please just let me know.
