Off Topic » Multiple Inboxes search terms not working as expected - HELP!

Hi,

I'm using the Gmail Labs - Multiple Inboxes feature to sort emails according to stars (I'm following this blog post).

My search term for one of the inboxes is

has:red-bang OR has:yellow-bang OR label:1. Needs Action / Reply

This search term only successfully finds emails with the label "1. Needs Action / Reply" but does not return messages starred with has:red-bang or has:yellow-bang

If I remove the second OR, the search returns messages starred with red and yellow bangs. My question is how can I build a search query that returns all three messages?


Please help....
